Towards building staff capacity for effective Program implementation and performance management activities, the Caritas Nigeria Management Team of the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project, organized a 5-day retreat and Budget Development Review Meetings from 30th October to 4 November 2023 in Enugu State.
The team analysed program management priorities for the year, improved collaboration between the program, Grants, Finance, and other Units and successfully tracked and closed identified gaps for a seamless process on the ACCESS Project. Aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of program delivery, build a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce, and create a more supportive and productive work environment.
The meeting had in attendance delegates from the Caritas Nigeria country office in Abuja, and Zonal Offices in Ogoja, Imo, Abia, and Enugu state.
The ACCESS Project is funded by the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the CDC.
