Caritas Nigeria Chief of Party and Principal Investigator, Dr. Oko. John Okpanachi, with a delegation of HQ staff, State Team Leads, of Abia, Imo, Enugu, and other staff in the state held a two-day workshop in Enugu State from 8th to 9th November 2023 with the Executive Officers of Community-based Organizations (CBOs).
The workshop focused on the Patient Biometric Services (PBS) component of the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project, funded by The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the CDC.
During the workshop, the Caritas Nigeria team, alongside Executive Officers from Community-based Organizations (CBOs) collaborating on the PBS initiative, engaged in an in-depth review of CBO performance. The workshop served as a platform for fostering collaborative efforts to tackle challenges arising from the PBS capturing exercise, ensuring the formulation of holistic solutions.
Caritas Nigeria's management expressed confidence that the workshop successfully tackled challenges related to PBS capturing, providing effective solutions in the fiscal year 2024
