The 16 days of activism campaign kick-started with the celebration of the Holy Mass at the Caritas Nigeria office in Abia State. Setting a powerful tone for the upcoming activism against Gender-Based violence (GBV) in the region, our Chaplain, Rev. Fr. David Aguneri, in his homily, addressed the pressing issues around gender-based violence (GBV) and reiterated the importance of fostering equality within society.
As usual, our staff working in the region demonstrated a collective commitment to combating GBV through their active participation at the liturgical celebration, which will continue to fuel meaningful conversations, actions, and initiatives anchored in Caritas Nigeria values.
