In continuation of our efforts to ensure that everyone, regardless of their age, leverages 16 days of activism to call for an end to gender-based violence (GBV), the Orphans and Vulnerable Children's (OVC) unit of the Caritas Nigeria office in Imo State sensitized students of the Holy Ghost College, Owerri, of the ills and causes of Gender Based Violence, as well as the preventive actions to combat it.
Using the No Means No Curriculum for boys, our team conducted an interactive session that not only educated the children on recognizing, preventing, and responding to violence but also had them pledging to contribute to creating a safer society.
